This is the oldest dated house in Liverpool and was built in 1615.
It always struck me as odd, sitting there surrounded by 1930’s (?) council houses - but, as it’s owned by Liverpool city council, then that makes this a council house too!
I’d love to get a look at the interior where I believe sections of its original “wattle and daub” construction are visible.  I get the feeling it must be pretty gloomy though - those mullioned windows are tiny!
