Following on from their enormously successful iPod and iPhone, Apple have announced the “iPad”. I guess two out of three isn’t bad.

Somebody just found this blog, via Yahoo, while searching for “nudist or nudiste or nudists or nudistes or nudism”. Forty two minutes later they left - presumably bitterly disappointed. But wait - don’t go! You’re just a couple of days early, that’s all. Tomorrow, as always, is Type Naked Thursday. (seriously, Yahoo - WTF!)

One might have thought that, given the recent snowy conditions, all those people who live in the cities, yet insist on using massive four-by-fours for the ‘school run’ would have had an opportunity to feel good about themselves for once. Unfortunately, most of the schools were closed.

Phishing...
I just noticed an interesting little email lying in my “spam” folder. It was sent on the 18th of January, appears to come from “donotreply_i_robot@libertyreserve.com” and contains an attachment “sync[REDACTED].zip”. The email reads as follows: Under the agreement, Liberty Reserve upgraded equipment. Synchronize your accounts through special software. ...

After reblogging that cheese advert video, the CGI one with the mouse-trap, I stumbled upon this one - with a real mouse and trap. You may want to turn the sound off before playing this - it’s got an extremely irritating and cheesy sound-track (i.m.h.o.)

Up for the Cup.
One of the most entertaining weekends I have had (to date) was that of the 10th of May 1986 - the weekend we went “Up for the Cup” (ok, so technically we travelled ‘down’, but who’s counting). Fourteen of us, eleven Everonians and three Liverpudlians, went to ‘that London’ to watch the F. A. Cup Final between, funnily enough, Liverpool and Everton. Out...

A Pictorial Guide to avoiding Camera Loss. →
Guy keeps a set of pictures on his camera in the hope that, should he lose it, they will prompt whoever finds it to return it to him - well worth a look. (Me, I keep one picture with my address on it - Andrew McDonald’s solution, whilst taking up more space, is far more entertaining)

You know, it has to be said: If I was skiing I’d be absolutely delighted with the current weather. Sure it’s cold, but there isn’t a cloud in the sky and that snow - it’s dry powder! Now where can I find a hill… with some kind of lift?

Tabletop Pong. →
Those lovable loons over at Evil Mad Scientist Laboratories have built a desktop version of the old ‘Pong’ game. Meh. But what if I told you that it uses a 1.25 inch steel ball-bearing as the ball? [click]
