The thrust of the song is “Fuck you, I won’t do what you tell me!” and the BBC are all, “I say chaps, would you mind terribly not swearing - thanks awfully”, broadcast them live and then crap themselves when the inevitable happens. ROFL!

I found this particularly interesting - all those horses (though some new-fangled electric trams are in evidence).
The dock scenes (3:00 ish) are equally fascinating. ‘Sail’ would appear to be very much the ‘order of the day’, but we do see the odd funnel.

Many years ago, some friends persuaded me to give this skiing lark a go and so we trotted off to the Italian resort of Courmayeur. One morning I went down for breakfast, a self-service buffet affair. I’m a bit of an ‘art fan’ and it’s not unusual for me to visit galleries either to see exhibitions I’ve heard about, or just on the ‘off chance’ - to see if anything’s going on. It was on one of these chance visit to Tate Liverpool that I encountered Antony Gormley’s “Bed” sculpture....
